Samuel M. Johnson

LITIGATION ATTORNEY

Partner - Skolnick & Bardwell, P.A.

Sam defines the word attorney, in his case, as a creative problem solver. Without exception, he takes a deep dive into every case to uncover both the main issues and the nuances. Knowing the value of being prepared, his impeccable ethics and quick thinking make for a formidable adversary in any battle. He is passionate about his clients and will tenaciously represent their interests.

ON BECOMING A LAWYER

After graduating from Macalester College, Sam spent six years in retail management. That experience taught him how to earn people’s trust, both professionally and personally. Since that time, the terms justice and fairness became personal mandates for him to live by. Fortunately, he’s always been a competitive person, and he saw the law as a place where competition is encouraged. As an attorney, he loves to turn his hard work and creative thinking into fair and gratifying results for his clients.

ON THE CHALLENGES OF PRACTICING LAW

Courts get backed up, and people get bogged down with minutia. Sam’s mission is to keep the ball rolling, keeping the process cost-effective for his clients, and doing everything in his power to enable a positive outcome for them.

ON HOW HE IS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER LAWYERS

Sam is the first to say it “I hate seeing people being taken advantage of.” He will fight for his clients to foster swift and legal settlement or success in court.

ON SKOLNICK AND BARDWELL
